The Veterinary Technician
| The third week in October is national veterinary technician week. Veterinary technicians work closely with your veterinarian to ensure the best quality medical care for your pet. Certified Veterinary Technicians, referred to as CVT's, are educated professionals who are responsible for many tasks including anesthesia, radiology (x-rays), nursing care, and laboratory testing to name a few. Individuals who make their careers in the veterinary profession as technicians take an oath to serve the public, promote public health and care for the animals with whom we share this world. It is a commitment to compassion, service, hard work, life long learning, honesty and a high standard of ethical conduct. We at CatTails FHC would like to recognize our own superb nursing team. |
